Nightmare Chica is an antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's 4 and a returning character for the Ultimate Custom Night.
Appearance[]
Nightmare Chica is dark yellow in color with a smudgy orange texture on her beak, which is larger and wider than her original counterpart. She also has two nostrils. Her eyes have a mix of white (left) and red (right), and her multiple teeth are sharp with green running down from the top.
Her bib is torn as well as the rest of her body. You can see her endoskeleton through various tears and holes in her costume. She also has small wires jutting out in various places.

Gameplay[]
Nightmare Chica does not appear on the normal character roster, and instead can randomly be spawned by Dee Dee along with five other animatronics.
When she is activated, Nightmare Chica's jaws will slowly close in from the top and bottom of the screen. Using the Power A/C will push back the jaws; otherwise, the mouth will close and Nightmare Chica will jumpscare you.

Trivia[]
- On 6/23/18, Nightmare Chica was confirmed as one of the additional characters (other than RWQFSFASXC, Plushtrap, Bonnet, Minireenas and Lolbit) that Dee Dee will occasionally summon throughout the course of the night.
- Nightmare Chica is the only version of Chica to have the cupcake on her shoulder, which could be referring to one of the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 teaser images, although it is sitting on the left shoulder, rather than the right.
- Due to Nightmare Chica's similar design to that of Withered Chica, it could be assumed that Nightmare Chica's appearance is actually based off of said character from FNaF 2 rather than her incarnation in FNaF 1.
- However, Nightmare Chica has some different traits from Withered Chica, such as having both of her hands, moveable arms and she has a cupcake.
- Nightmare Chica was the first Dee Dee character whose mechanic was not revealed before the game released. This led to a moderate period of confusion where players had no idea on how to defend themselves against her, along with the fact that unlike the other Dee Dee characters whose mechanics were not revealed before release, her mechanic was completely different to her previous mechanic in FNaF 4.

Errors[]
- Nightmare Chica's mugshot shows a slight error, where in FNaF 4 she had three rows of teeth, but the UCN depicts her with only 2 rows instead.
- The same error happened to Jack-O-Chica.
