The Music Box is a returning feature from Five Nights At Freddy's 2. The player must wind it up so the music box doesn't go off and the Marionette doesn't get hostile. This game mechanic is used with Chica as well.
Ultimate Custom Night[]
The Marionette[]
It bears the same mechanics as using the music box from the second game, winding it up so the Puppet cannot become hostile and attack the player. If the player dosen't wind up the music box, the Puppet will play a jingle and attacks the player, ending the night's run. If the player uses a Death Coin in the kitchen when Marionette is active, the Music Box's bar will instantly fill up since Marionette is gone.
Chica[]
Chica can be affected with the music box, as a different mechanic, if the player hears pots and pans falling off making noise, she is neutral, she gets agitated if the same music repeats over and over, and if she stops making noise the player needs to go to the Kitchen camera and change the music in a timely fashion before she gets out of the Kitchen and jumpscares the player, ending the night's run. However, if the player changes the music too soon, while the pots and pans are still heard, Chica will get annoyed that the music was changed early and will jumpscare the player.
