The Temperature is a crucial mechanic in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, this mechanic is shown after running the main gameplay or in the office shift. This mechanic also returns for the Ultimate Custom Night.

Main Game

The temperature is needed to be closely monitored as it is very crucial, it is affected by turning on or off the ventilation system during the shifts, and keeps track of the temperature of the room. The lowest is at 60 Degrees Fahrenheit, which the player begins with, and no harm will be caused. If the ventilation system is turned off, the temperature will rise at random intervals, every 0.5 to 3 seconds, roughly. If it reaches 120 degrees Fahrenheit, the player will pass out and be sent back to the main menu, similar to a normal jumpscare. This is the only way to lose the shift without having been jumpscared by any of the animatronics.

Ultimate Custom Night

The temperature functions similarly to the main game, starting at 60 Degrees and maxing out at 120 degrees, but even though the player doesn't pass out at 120 degrees, certain animatronics (Freddy, Jack o chica, etc) are more active or triggered as the heat increases. The power-up Frigid can be used to start the night at 50 degrees.
